| Vanessa Paradis - Bliss Classification: Int'l & World Music Band: Vanessa Paradis Tracks: - L'eau Et Le Vin - Commando - When I Say - Pourtant - Que Fait La Vie? - Les Acrobates - La La La Song - L'air Du Temps - St Germain - Dans Mon Cafe - Firmaman - La Ballade De Lily Rose - Bliss EXCELLENT CD This album is just the album that I was looking for, it has all the great songs. Vanessa Paradis sure knows how to play your mood on her lovely songs, she is just talented and she has a great voice. I hope that she will keep singing and singing, because this is not the first album I have from her....I started buying her albums since I was 9 years old, because she started singing in 1988. Now, I am 22 years old, and I still hear her amazing songs. amazing The best thing about Vanessa Paradis is that she has great timing and great judgement. She only does things she Truly believes in and this is what has sent her way beyond any other teenage popstar. she clearly has great taste in both music and in films. I Love it that she doesn't just puts out work every year in order to stay in the picture and stay popular. She has waited 10 years to record this album after her last album and that was a very couragious thing for her to do. I don't know that many artists who are Strong enough to do that, they're all so afraid that when they don't release an album every two years people will forget them. Well, Vanessa has proved that waiting pays of, this is her best album yet, it is mature, diverse, unique and most of all personal. i Love the songs she has written herself and I Love the songs of others she chose to sing. With this album she proves she is a true artist, a musician, and not yet another producers puppet without a voice of her own. She may not have the biggest voice in the world, but there is something honest and pure about it when she sings a song like St Germain or l'eau et le vin. I can't stop listening to this album, i always liked what she did but this album is of a whole other level then her previous ones. I hope she will keep on going like this, I think there is a lot more where this came from. It is just a shame that this album has not been released internationally, it deserves a lot more attention than it is getting. yes Bliss ý was going out when 'bliss' arrived from amazon.fr and when ý heard in my hurry 'l'eau et le vin' it wasn't any suprise to me but a sudden smile on my face : this one - 'commando' - 'when ý say' - 'pourtant' and 'dans mon café' : very vanessa and very good music/arrangements and there're more beautiful songs like 'que fait la vie' - 'les acrobates' and 'st germain' but ý must admit that ý have a problem with 'l'air du temps' ý skip it every time 'firmaman' and 'bliss' are too Holly and too Strong this album explains why vanessa paradis waited 8 years before she got into to the recording studio and apparently she'll do more than this ý think there's also something very remarkable: she sings not only so nicely -with her small but unique voice-but so different in every song at the end 'bliss' isn't much like an album but like a man or a women in any age in any place with good feelings of heart/talent/character and work ý can't afford to say to everyone 'go buy it' but if you do first of all listen again and again 'l'eau et le vin' Buy Vanessa Paradis Bliss at Amazon.com Buy posters at Allposters.comJamster - the latest ringtones for your phone! |
