| Sam Cooke - At the Copa Band: Sam Cooke where is the stereo version? I Love this album. It's wonderful to hear and the beauty of the CD is that it can be played from start to finish without having to flip it over. Just one question...the LP that I have is in excellent stereo...not rechannelled...why is this in MONO??? That Cousin of Mine After watching the December 2001 VH1 special on Sam Cooke, I am more convinced than ever that his second Copa performance (of which this album resulted) is a classic and collector's item. Sam's being a pioneer in crossing cultural and ethnic barriers to entertain with music, the universal language, makes this Copa performance even more an intricate part of history than most may think. Watching Sam's influence on boxing champions like Ali (As seen in the 2001 movie bio of Ali and the VH1 special) makes this Copa project priceless. Thanks to those who Refused to allow this recording to become extinct. Sam is forever part of my heritage: I am one of his cousins. the man at his best Sam Cook sounds has good Live as he does in the recording studio.
