When I was a little girl, my Dad took me, my sister and my cousins to see Jackie Wilson at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem. It was 1965 or so. I was in a complete daze. My Dad told me I wandered up on the stage and was glazed and starry eyed! I ordered the CDs for my Mom for Xmas! When we listened to them, it was like I was that little girl again. Just close my eyes and I'm there again next to the greatest crooner of all time! The world lost a great Impresario! Thank God his voice is preserved for eternity! Here's to you, Jackie!!! an essential Jackie Wilson disc! This CD contains all of Jackie's hits,though,it may be too brief for some who want songs like "you better know it",etc.I Love Jackie and I think it's wonderful,I'm very satisfied with it.
