Very Underrated CD by A Great Band

This is a great CD by a very underated band. Some people can't get over comparing them to U2, which is a shame. Questions has to be one of the most unique beginnings to a CD with it's "Australian" instrumental beginning. Heaven Sent simply rocks out and should have been released in the US as a single. Not Enough Time is simply soulful and a song many of us can relate with. All Around is another great rocker, and the rest of the CD is simply a great listen. There are those who wish to discredit INXS and reduce what they were and are to two or three "bashing" sentences. If you like this band, get this album. You already know better, unlike some of our "amateur rock critics" who reviwed this CD. If only some of these critics could accomplish half of what bands like INXS did. Oh well, we can listen to great music by a great band, and they can keep dreaming....and wishing.....and hoping.....if only they could make music half as good as INXS. Folks, get this one and you won't be disappointed.

The Critics and American Fans Dismissed This Gem.

Believe it or not, this was the first INXS cd I bought. I have all 10 now and feel that they are one of rock's best bands. I chose this one album to highlight because I feel that The Band took more risks here than on any other disc. It paid off because of the 12 tracks there are no rejects. It's a sonic masterpiece and was an abrupt Change for the band. Unfortunately, the fickle American public didn't get it and the album wasn't as successful as the more popular Kick and X. However, Listen Like Thieves was a classic as well. This is where you should start though, it's a must have for any serious music fan.

THE King OF COOL IS DEAD.GOD SAVE THE King OF COOL!!!

Welcome is by far the best album in the INXS collection. From the gritty sound of Heaven Sent to the Sublime Men and Women this album never fails to satisfy. My only gripe is that Questions is too short. However a single version is available and well worth purchasing.Favourite track is Baby Don't Cry.I Love the mix between classic Rock and the Big Band sound. It's by far the best track on the album and is best played nice and loud(especially in the car).
