| Green Day - Time of Your Life Pt.1 Band: Green Day "Time of Your Life" or "Good Riddance Ok, don't get me wrong, Good Riddance (the original title of Time of Your Life) is a great song. But what frustrates me is the fact that everyone thinks it's a sentimental song about saying good-bye. Well it's not . . . doesn't the title give you a clue? It's a parody of saying good-bye, and to what they are mocking I have not determined yet. To conclude, I like the song, but stop telling me it's sentimental. Touched my Heart It went on a 18-day-trip with about 200 other people, and we had a dance the last night. The DJ chose this song to be the last one. Most people, including me, really really had to Fight against tears. However, this song will always remember me of the great time we've had together and will always stay deep in my heart. Lyrically Divine With Time of Your Life being very emotional and popular, it made an impact for Green Day. I recently (and right now) listened to Rotting, and I personally think it's the saddest Green Day song. It's just feeling completely useless, and lyrically great as well as Time of Your Life. I don't have the cd, but I've downloaded the two tracks from this cd. Desensitized also has some interesting guitaring with the common Green Day sound. Overall, this is a terrific cd to add to a Green Day collection or for beginners.
