Being that the film was shot in Paris, it would have been a treat to have seen it presented in wide-screen format. The story and actors were intriguing and up to par. Ford gives a good performance ( I've never seen him that frustrated or "frantic" - The movie Frantic,directed by Roman Polanski,is excellent.It stars Harrison Ford as an American doctor,in Paris for a convention,whose wife(played by Betty Buckley)i - This film is a Cornell Woolrich, entirely American style of thriller set in Paris in the mid-80s. It never veers from its exceedingly well-written premise and is peopled with a fantastic cast that makes this uprooted American genre work perfectly in new environs. Ford has never been better, and although Singer isn't going to win any awards h - Roman Polanski doing it again as director . Harrison Ford at his best on very challenging role ( second after " Regarding Henry " ). Very attractive Emmanu - Sehr europaeisch, mit einem genialen Harrison Ford! Schoene Atmosphaere, spannend und mit super Soundtrack. Einer meiner Lieblings-Harrison-Ford-Filme. Ehrlich gesagt darf man sich nicht daran stoß - Ehrlich gesagt darf man sich nicht daran stoßen, daß der Film noch in den guten alten achtziger Jahren gedreht wurde. Die DVD bietet brillianten Klang und sehr gutes Bild. Diese Qualitäten darf man dem Film allerdings nicht beimessen. Er fängt dröge an und und hört auch dementsprechend so auf! Leider ist als einziges die Leistung Harrison Fords zu betonen, der den Film bestenfalls auf M Osta CD Levyjä CDONnista  |
