Jimmie Vaughan!!! Jimmie Vaughan!!! The master of understatement proves with every note he plays, that speed is not a requirement to sound good. Don't get me wrong, he could rip if he wanted to. But he doesn't. Kim Wilson's singing + harmonica playing are nothing less than excellent. The rhythm section of Keith Ferguson on bass, and Fran Christina on drums is rock solid. They are the foundation on which Vaughan and Wilson work their magic. Stevie Ray once said "My brother is the best rhythm guitarist in the world." He was right. Jimmie seems to Truly enjoy laying down the groove for Wilson. His solo's are tasty. While Stevie's playing coluld only be described as "over the top", Jimmie's playing is a simmering Texas chili. Ready to boil over at any time, but never does. His playing has me at the edge of my seat, even though I know that he is not going to let loose, because he sounds like he could at any second. This is a must listen for any blues fan, and certainly any Vaughan fan. Enjoy.
