Doro sings very heavy and fast tracks: "I am What I am", "Angels With Dirty Faces", "Under the Gun", "Save My Soul" etc. Doro has Strong voice. She really keeps rocking. The most surprising thing is that the album begins with an cover ballad "Whiter Shade of Pale". It is a very good one, better than original but still who starts an album with an ballad? Well there' more good ballads "River of Tears" and "Beyond the Trees". The last track is a strange Speech track. Doro Rocks! This album contains an awesome cover version of Whiter Shade of Pale. Under The Gun is My Favorite Doro tune period. Definitely one of the best Doro albums. DORO'S BEST EFFORT - A REAL ROCKER! ASIDE FROM THE ALBUM "TRIUMPH AND AGONY" BY WARLOCK, I ONLY LIKED A FEW OTHER SONGS HERE AND THERE SHE DID SOLO OR WITH WARLOCK, HOWEVER, THIS ALBUM IS GREAT FROM START TO FINISH! SONGS LIKE "SAVE MY SOUL", "HARD TIMES", "MISSION OF MERCY", "WORLD GONE WILD" AND THE BALLADS "BEYOND THE TREES" AND "RIVER OF TEARS" ILLUSTRATE HER TALENT, UNIQUE VOCAL STYLE AND SONGWRITING AT THEIR STRONGEST. JON DEVIN ALSO ADDS SOME VERY NICE GUITAR WORK THROUGHOUT!
