I find this particular excursion, however, a sad disappointment. It just doesn't work. The instrumentals almost seem like parodies of Vegas back-up arrangements. Miss Warwick sounds as if she is out of her element. And the sound quality is mediocre. Ms. Warwick is a singer that I respect and admire. But this particular album does little to burnish her legacy. great material for a great singer I have to admit, that I am a big fan of Miss Warwick, and collect about any CD of hers that I can get my hands on... I like this collection for the theme of this collection, timeless songs by a timeless singer. I appreciated the materal from her Live in Paris album, which is not available on CD.
