| Children of Bodom - Follow the Reaper Band: Children of Bodom Tracks: - Follow the Reaper - Bodom After Midnight - Children of Decadence - Everytime I Die - Mask of Sanity - Taste of My Scythe - Hate Me! - Northern Comfort - Kissing the Shadows - Shot in the Dark - Hellion A MIRACLE IN METAL! ok, in my opinion this cd is one of my favorites with no filler content and great solos... the two things I look for in cds i buy. <BR> 1:Follow the reaper<BR>Extremely fast and furious Strong solos... great title track.<BR> 2:Bodom after midnight<BR>Awesome song... probably My Favorite although the solo isnt as good as the track after it...<BR> 3:Children of decadence<BR>Just great guitar work on this song! Love the interlude!<BR> 4:everytime I die<BR>The only slow song on the cd and definitely one of the best...hey they're all the best!<BR> 5:mask of sanity<BR>The track that got me into COB... Defintely a classic...Great solos<BR> 6:Taste of my scythe<BR>Great riff...And solo...great song<BR> 7:HaTe ME!<BR>This song is great but the solo isnt that good...not long enough<BR> 8:northern comfort<BR>I like this song strange name though... probavbly if i had to take one off it'd be this one.<BR> 9:kissing the shadows<BR>GREAT SOLOS!!<BR> 10:hellion<BR>bonus track...what can i say... best bodom cd yet Death be not brave though some have called thee mighty and dreadful though art so. With these words Follow the Reaper explodes into the opening track. This cd is the best so far. With new vocals, heavy guitar riffs, and fast drum beats this cd stands out. You can listen from 1-9 without stopping. The songs keep getting better.<BR>1. Follow the Reaper- 10/10 Great opener with very fast keyboards riffs and drum beats.<BR>2. Bodom after Midnight 10/10 Great song with a cool hook.<BR>3. Children of Decadence-10/10 Great opening riffs and great although repeated vocals. Longest song on the record.<BR>4. Everytime I Die-10/10 Long intro into a nice slow paced song. Another good song.<BR>5. Mask of Sanity-11/10 1st best song on this album with an awesome bridge.<BR>6. Taste of my Scythe-10/10 Sweet intro into another good song.<BR>7. Hate me!-12/10 Best song on the cd great ryhthm great vocals and an insane bridge. A headbanger's dream.<BR>8. Southern Comfort-9/10 a good song (not great) but still worth listening to.<BR>9. Kiss the Shadows-10/10 A fast paced song with a great melody.<BR>10. Hellion- -2/10 This song is horrible. It is a bonus track that is a cover version of a song from some other band. It portrays the lack of talent of that Band and COB does its best to make it better but ultimatley fails to do so. Avoid This Song!! Final verdict is a 10/10 or a 5/5 whatever still the best Bodom cd. Follow the Reaper, you won't be disapointed quite possibly My Favorite disk of 2001. Even though I am a children of bodom fan previous to hearing this cd, I beleive this is possibly their strongest dist to date. The production is unbelevably clean. From the screaming vocals to the thunderous kick drum the sound pours out from this cd. The talent of CoB is undescribable. Beware all nu-metal fans, this disk stomps nu-metal and then proceeds to burn its rotting carcass. Brilliant guitar/keyboard solos flow throught the album at full pace. I can't even put in words how awsome this is. Every metal fan should own this cd! If you have never stepped out of your mainstream metal box yet, now is the time.
