Run to this !

Only a few musicians can be proficient in both a hard and softstyles and Bryan Adams is one of them. First with the bad: excludedare Lonely Nights, One Night Love Affair Hearts on Fire and I Thought I Died and Gone to Heaven. Adding Only the Strong Survive and Home Again would have been nice to add. Now back to the good! The album starts with his signature classic rock tune Summer of 69.Most of the other songs come from Reckless but Adams doesn't stop rockin! Can't Stop This Thing We Started and Cuts Like a Knife are two good Live Wire guitar songs. Adams also has a soft side: Please Forgive Me and Straight from the Heart. This collection would not be complete without(Everything I Do) I Do It for You. That song does not follow any syrupy pop ballad formula! which is why it lasted as #1 in the pop charts for so long in 1991! After you listen to this song you might wonder if this is his signature song rather than Summer of 69. After you listen to this greatest hits CD you can figure out why Bryan Adams is Canada's greatest male pop musician.

A Collection of Bryan's Greatest Hits

Bryan Adams is Canada's greatest entertainer...forget Celine Dion, forget even Terrance and Philip...when you listen to this album, you'll understand why his album Heaven is the most albums ever sold by a Canadian artist.
The CD puts together his finest string of hits starting with his upbeat favorite "Summer of '69," and closing with a previously unreleased song, "Please Forgive Me." Sandwiched in between are songs such as "Do I Have To Say The Words?" "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You," "Kids Wanna Rock," "Straight From The Heart," "Cuts Like A Knife," and "Heaven."
All together, this shows why Bryan Adams is one of America's finest rockers and the best thing Canada has ever produced.

So Far Excellent

So Far So Good is a compilation of Bryan's hits up until 1993 and what a career he has had so far. Every song here has it's own individual merit and could easily stand alone but to add 14 great songs on one CD is too good.
From the rocky sounds of the classic Summer Of '69, It's Only Love (with Tina Turner), Kids Wanna Rock and Run To You to the more gentle ballads the Bryan has now become famous for like Straight From The Heart, Please Forgive Me and the phenomenally huge Everything I Do (I Do It For You).
This CD is varied in sound throughout but the quality remains high from start to finish and you'll easily find yourself singing along without realising. Cuts Like A Knife and Somebody are great examples of sing along songs but still hold onto their reputation.
My favourites are the two above mentioned sing along crackers, Summer Of '69 for its battering guitar playing, Heaven as it is a lovely rock ballad that has stood the test of time well and of course the Robin Hood Theme Everything I Do as it is beautiful.
Overall, a great thorough look at Bryan's career so far and one that should be added to your collection if you like Bryan, rock music or just plain fun hits.
