| Alice Deejay - Who Needs Guitars Anyway? When I was first introdused to the music of Alice, I was sceptical, as I knew that most music in her genre was very bland and sounded alike. Yet, after I, hesitantly, purchased this CD, I was blown away by the difference in the sound of each song. My only complaint is number 8, but still, the other 13 tracks are incredible. One good song, but the rest are poor to mediocre Better off alone is unquestionably one of the coolest dance tunes in recent years (despite its lack of substance), but the other songs failed to inspire me. To me, the whole album sounds the same. If you're going to make repetitive songs, you'll need to make at least some variation to distinguish them. I really wanted to like it, but after listening to the CD several times, I realized the truth - I would have been much better off just buying the single. I laughed when I read the insert saying Alice Deejay won't be just another one hit wonder. If you like this style of music, I would recommend Sarina Paris - she's a little more sugary but her songs are better in every respect. Great job, Alice! What a nice CD!<BR> I especially like Track 12, 'Everthing Begins with an E' It is a song with a beautiful piano. I also like the title track, 'Who Needs Guitars Anyway?" This is a nice CD if you enjoy instrumentals with lots of beat and rhythm.
