This album helped put them back on the map, if not solidifying them as one of the premier bands of the time. PUMP is one fast-paced album that rocks from start to finish. "Love in an Elevator" was one of the first big hits, and is clearly one of the more catchy tunes on the album. "Janie's Got a Gun," the band's first Grammy winner, still remains a very popular song today, and other tracks like "The Other Side" and "What It Takes" are also quite excellent. Steven Tyler and his unique singing voice are superb, especially on this album. Joe Perry is a master on the guitar, and The Band just Truly seems to mix together splendidly on this album. This album has something for everyone. PUMP is well worth it. Aerosmith's Best! I bought this CD in 1992 and was very surprised when I first heard it. From 'Young Lust' to 'What It Takes', the songs captivate the listener extremely well. You will find yourself playing the entire CD through each and every single time. In my opinion, EVERY SINGLE SONG on it is GREAT. No mediocre ones, and that's a pretty hard thing to say about an album these days. This is the kind of Band that Truly reminds me of the reason for my Love of rock n' roll in the first place. This album contains flawless performances and great lyrics by the greatest Band in rock history! Heck, it even scored Aerosmith their first Grammy with the song 'Janie's Got A Gun' - a great song. Even after 6 years now, I still take it out once in a while and take it for a spin. I'll always Love this CD. In conclusion... GO OUT AND BUY THIS ALBUM!!! You'll thank me for it. :) THIS ALBUM PUMPS MY LIFE I'm really sure that this is the best Aerosmith album. It changes my life, it's a powerfull hard rock with sexual songs like "Young lust" and "Love in a elevator", R&B tracks like "Monkey on my back", "What it Takes" is one of the best ballads that i ever heard, and every time that i hear the masterpiece "Janie's got a gun" i go F**ked Up, Insecure, Neurotic And Emotional. I think these are the best Aerosmith albums: 1.-Pump 2.-Rocks 3.-Nine Lives 4.-Toys in the attic.
